Title Of Article :
Investigation of Graduate Theses Prepared Using Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy in Turkey
Abstract :
This research is aimed to investigate categorically the theses which are published using electron spin resonance spectroscopy in Turkey. In this context, document analysis which is one of the qualitative research methods was used in the research. The Theses Review Form was used in the analysis of 131 theses. Content analysis was used to analyze the data obtained. According to the findings of the research, 40 theses were published in doctorate and 91 theses were published in master s program and the theses which were determined to be published by Ondokuz Mayıs University were the most. Although electron spin resonance and electron paramagnetic resonance express the same spectroscopy; electron spin resonance was preferred in 67 theses and electron paramagnetic resonance in 64 theses. Irradiation was performed with cobalt-60 sources in 59 studies and cesium-137 sources in 7 studies. While the additive method was used more in the master s and doctoral theses, the examination of the powder crystal samples took the first place with 66 in the selection of the material studied.
