Abstract :
In the modern age of technology, where infinite blessings are laid before the people, and an insatiable and unhappy generation grows, children often build something in the virtual environment with the materials they describe as waste and residual in their environment. Without providing a ready-made formula, educators should allow children to think, to dream, and accordingly, to create creative designs by introducing new forms outside of their intended use. These waste and residual materials can become a rich resource that stimulates creative thinking when used appropriately from a different point of view. Therefore, in order to develop artistic skills and creativity in children, they should be allowed to be transformed into different objects by allowing them to pollute their hands and clothing, perhaps by using waste and residual materials, which are considered as rubbish. The aim of this course is to give the student the habit of doing research in order to find the material that will be used in the study from waste and residual material by giving up to the student the habit of using the ready-made material sold in the stationers. The research study was carried out in the 2015-2016 academic year fall semester and the Üniversitesi Visual Arts ”course and yıl Teaching Practice” course which were taken by the fourth year students of the Department of Preschool Education of Yüzüncü Yıl University and the fourth year students of the Department of Preschool Education were discussed. As a data collection tool; The data obtained from the interviews conducted with face-to-face teachers and preschool teachers working in primary schools and preschool education institutions by face-to- face interviews and the examination of the reports prepared as a result of interviews were recorded by semi-interview method and the observation method was used. During the year and at the end of the year, in the parental meetings held in primary schools; In the face-to-face interviews conducted with parents about the studies that have been carried out, it is observed that nearly all of the parents are satisfied with the fact that their children do not want money for their materials and that the visual arts course is ın have been very useful in terms of dreaming and being a creative individual.
