Abstract :
High Plateau City of Kayabası built by Trabzon Provincial Administration in order to make an alternative to the trio of sea-sand-sun which is defined as coastal tourism, to extend touristic activities to wider areas, utilize plateaus for touristic purposes, to encorage private initiatives, and to make contributions to the sectors of employment is the third tourism center after Zigana and Hıdırnebi.This settling within the borders of Municipality of Isıklar in Akçaabat in Trabzon has an altitude of 1800 m and it is 38 km to Akçaabat and 50 km to Trabzon. It is a convenient area for tourism with its untouched nature, fresh air, rich cultural diversity, and enterprising families.By the facitilities of touristic activities here, it is aimed to develop high plateau tourism, extend tourism to new areas, share the touristic values with others caring not to damage the ecological balance, and provide a source of income.
