Abstract :
Tourism is one of the most important economical activities and primarily necessary for development for most of the cities. Silivri can be characterized among these cities and residential units identified as summer house mostly have an active role in tourism activities. These houses are owned by persons live in or near İstanbul, and cause 4-5 fold increase in population. This condition also enables revival of most of service industry. The circumstances of tourism activities from past to present and determination and carrying out the necessary points for development in Silivri are necessary for development and progress economically.
