Abstract :
Landslides are of the natural disasters occurring widely in our country and often cause significant loss of life and property. Landslides must be especially taken into consideration in the infrastructure and engineering works that require significant amounts of capital. Otherwise, serious damages may occur in the works requiring high costs such as dams, roads, tunnels and urban areas in the high-risk landslide areas and by this way, re-construction/ repair costs and loss of life may increase. To decrease the damage of the landslides may be possible with taking previous preventive measures by determinating landslide risk areas. In this study, taking into account the activity of factors increasing the sensibility of the landslides, Tepecik Village landslide has been reviewed with all aspects in detail and the landslide risk of area and failures in planning area have been discussed.
