Effect to Rural Migrations of Scrap Business: Karanlıkdere, Tepeköy and Kayı Villages (Niğde) Example
Abstract :
Migration see as a place change action, but it effect on account of sociocultural and socioeconimic places, the origin and departure. Because of limited of acricultural and grassland areas in Niğde province’s rural settlements, over population cause to migration. In this study, Karanlıkdere, Tepeköy and Kayı villages that migrated for scrap business, are selected as illustration and survey study made to the migrants came to this villages in summer months. With the survey study, researched on demographic, economic and sociocultural cases like how much effect on rural migrations of scrap business and various cases of the emigrants aseconomical case, investments made to their village, came frequencies to the village, cultural connections with their villages, return case of emigrants and direction and frequency of emigration. Moreover suggestions reported for investment to migrants which have high capital in this sector
