Abstract :
Kızılcahamam and its locality have been stood on the routes of armies and the trade convoys along the history. Both its historical past and its natural peculiarity make the county a very fascinating touristic district. Because of its natural values, unspoilt environment, the feasibility climate of tourism, thermal springs, prosperous history, cultural heritage, the tourism opportunities in four seasons, the closeness to market area owing to fact that geographical position, the great potential of alternative tourism types, its increasing magnetism and also its closeness of the capital city which is the second biggest city, Ankara, and its accessibility easily present great advantages for the county’s tourism development. Nevertheless other cultural and social peculiarities like thousands of year’s historical past, many historical buildings, the socio-cultural diversities, and the hospitality of habitants, handcrafts, traditional food and fests can be added as the county’s values.
