Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to investigate educational researchers views of using mobile technologies for educational purposes based on technology acceptance model. The sample of this study is 21 educational researchers. To collect data, interviews were conducted to investigate educational researchers attitude and intentions toward mobile technologies based on the TAM in the spring semester of 2011-2012. This study was designed as a qualitative research model. The study was prepared by researchers and semi-structured interview form was used personal information. Data obtained from this study were analyzed using by content analysis method. Findings revealed that all of educational researchers indicated that they would use mobile technologies in their teaching in the future. However, less than half of educational researchers (33%) said that they have been using mobile technologies during teaching. In addition, researchers reported that mobile technologies found useful in terms of both their academic developments and teaching and learning activities. Most of the educational researchers also indicated that they are sufficient to use mobile technologies; moreover, these technologies are not difficult and complex. In light of obtained findings, it could be said that participants will adopt mostly these technologies when some difficulties such as technical support and cost are accomplished.
