Primary School Administrators’ Views On Organizational Inertia
Abstract :
The aim of this research is to determine the suggestions of primary school administrators to overcome organizational inertia by emerging out the reasons and the results of inertia at schools. The study group of this qualitative research is 10 primary school administrators. The results of this study that is conducted via semi structured interview form indicates that inertia is mostly seen in subjects such as the activities at schools, professional improvement, decision making, bureaucracy. The behaviours of inertia is mostly seen as decrease in performance, postponing resistance to change, and in the basis of these behaviours personality types, lack of job satisfaction, financial reasons, work load are found.
