  • Abstract
    Enez lagoon complex consists of three main lagoons, Dalyan (Peso), Işık (Üzmene) and Taşaltı. It has been managed by S.S. Enez Fisheries Cooperative since 1972. Grey mullets, sea bass, gilthead sea bream and eels are the main targeted fishes in the lagoons and they are fished with traps, trammel nets and fyke nets. The annual fish yield ranged from 14456 kg to 69563 kg with average 33168 ± 5199 kg in 1997-2007 seasons. Fish production per hectare was between 44 kg/ha and 211 kg/ha with average 101 ±15.6 kg/ha.
