  • Abstract
    As a result of the studies conducted so far in the Gulf of Izmir, 444 species of crustaceans belong to orders Sessilia, Leptostraca, Stomatopoda, Mysidacea, Amphipoda, Isopoda, Tanaidacea, Cumacea and Decapoda have been identified. The order Amphipoda is the most dominant group in terms of species number. Eighteen species of crustaceans is reported for the first time for the Izmir Bay.
