Abstract :
This Study Reports that the Annual Amounts and Diversity of the Species, Marketing in Samsun Wholesale Fish Market Between 2007 and 2010. However, the results compare with the other biggest fish markets (İstanbul, İzmir, Çanakkale). The greatest amounts of fish species in Samsun fish market were anchovy (83,47 %), horse-mackerel (4,87%), whiting (4,52%), red mullet (0,57%), bonito (0,50%), mullet (0,42%), bluefish (0,42%), shad (0,14%), sardine (0,04%) and turbot (0,003%) respectively. The mean sell amount between 2007 and 2010 was found as 13194 mt. Samsun s fish market firms, capabilities, and investment costs were examined.
