Histochemical Structure of the Gills of Sander (Sander lucioperca) in Karacaören Dam Lake
Abstract :
In this study, it was aimed to determine that glycoconjugates features of gills of sander fish (Sander lucioperca) living these lake as physicochemical properties and heavy metal effects on rates of Karacaören II Dam Lake. It was determined that acidic and O-sulphated ester glycoconjugates were showed strong reaction in mucus cells in all regions of the gill. Carboxylic and neutral glycoconjugates of the gills were not observed only the mucus cells oriented in the secondary lamellae. As a result of the applied staining methods was found to be more than the number of combined with a mixture of mucus cells.
