Abstract :
Amyloidosis is a rare, idiopathic disease and is characterised by the accumulation of anormal extracellular protein. Amyloidosis can be hereditary or acquired, localised or systemic and potentially lethal or appear as an incidental sign. Localised amyloidosis mostly occurs in the larynx and lungs. Isolated amyloid accumulation mostly occurs at the larynx in the head and neck region. In this article, a case with of a patient with symptoms primarily in the laryngeal ventricle from laryngeal amyloidosis who applied to our clinic with hoarseness and foreign body sensation in the throat was discussed.
