Abstract :

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the Cumhuriyet Universitys’ organizational image according to university students. The study is a descriptive survey model and quantitative research. The sample of the study consist of 951 university students who are receive education at Cumhuriyet University Education Faculty in 2014-2015 academic year. Data was collected by Organizational Image Scale that improved by Kazoleas (2001) and adapted to Turkish by Polat (2011). The scale has got six sub-dimension and its reliability co-efficient is .94. The data was analyzed by descriptive analyze method. Also discrimination tests were used. According to the results, the university students evaluate the university’s organizational image at low-level. Expect for quality image (medium level), all of the other sub-dimensions points are at low-level according to university students. As well as, the university students’ opinions of university organizational image are not different from in view of gerund. But the opinions are different from in view of hometown, daytime education or evening education, class level, dwelling unit. With regard to hometown, for university organizational image, students are from Sivas who are higher points than students are not from Sivas. With regard to daytime education or evening education, daytime education students are higher points than evening education students. With regard to class level, fourth class students are lower points than second class students. With regard to dwelling unit, towner students are higher points than students who live in the center of the city. There are vary suggestions according to results.
