Abstract :
In this paper a Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna (CDRA) with wideband operations in the range of frequencies: 1.8-2.7 GHz is presented. The radiating element is conceived by using ROGER Dielectric materiel of 𝜺𝒓=𝟏𝟎.𝟐 and fed through Microstrip feed line technique. The proposed antenna is designed and simulated using CST microwave studio and HFSS softwares, to operate in UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) and LTE (Long Term Evolution) Applications. In this analysis, we have studied the antenna’s parameters such as Return loss, Bandwidth, Radiation Pattern, VSWR, Antenna Efficiency and further the performance of this structure.
