Abstract :
There are different versions of the present time suffix in historical and modern Turkish dialects which began to be recorded in historical Turkish texts from Harezm Turkish onwards. Today, the suffix - yor that used in standard Turkish in Turkey’s Turkish today, confronts to us with the versions which are exposed to sound changes. The suffix is usually employed to maintain the consonant that comes before it, and there are changes to its other sounds. In this respect, the Central Kilis district Dialect has a special place amongst our dialects. Because, in Central Kilis Dialect, the suffix confronts to us as the first consonant is exposed to deletion. Actually, just like most dialects, in the Kilis Dialect, the use of the present time suffix is a factor in determining dialect regions. Accordingly, it was determined there are three dialects in Kilis.
