A review about resveratrol and it s effects
Abstract :
Resveratrol is a natural polyphenolic compound that found in grape, red wine, peanut, grape leaf, carob and blue berry. The first studies with resveratrol was started at 1976 by the scientists Langcake and Pryce at grape leaves. It is known that resveratrol, that have highligted antioxidant properties and its related cell death. Despite the French society consume foods rich of fat and cholesterol, the rate of cardiovascular disease in French society is rather low. It is thought that this protective effect occur through intake of resveratrol in red wine and this event is called French paradox . Moreover, it is found that resveratrol inhibited the cellular events associated with carsinogenesis. The studies of the effects of physiological and pathological conditions and the possible protective effects of diseases through resveratrol stil continues. In this paper, resveratrol s some effects in the body and some protective effect on the tissues has been taken.
