Air Conditioning Room Interior of the Air Flow Volume Measurement with PLC Using Trapezoidal Integration Method
Abstract :
Industrial control systems, flow measurement is a very important issue. It is frequently needed to calculate how much total fluid volume flows through a section. Volume measurement is a process of summation and taking the average by using timing intervals. The average flow can be found by adding the latest volume value to the previous volume and dividing the sum by 2 at a time interval. This process is known as the trapezoidal integration. In this study, the volume measurement of the conditioned air which is given to an air conditioning room is achieved by using PLC ladder diagram method. It is also concluded that the trapezoidal integral method is more effective than the classical sampling method.
