Abstract
Although fire is one of the most important events which are threatening life and property safety, there are not given necessary importance to the fire safety precautions in Turkey. The aim of this literature research is to draw attention to the topic of passive fire safety precautions at buildings in Turkey. In this article studies classified as international and national researchs. International researchs has been classified in to this topics; the fire stages flashover, backdraft, the passive fire safety precautions; in the scale of building material, in the scale of building structure and in the scale of building. Whereas the national researchs has been reviewed under a single subject title as passive fire safety precautions.
