Low Cost Water Level Control with Radio Frequency

Abstract
In this study, drinking water centrifugal pump and water storage tank were controlled remotely with radio frequency. Two level sensors were used in storage tank which supplied from pump. Pump were controlled with sensors were located bottom and top level. UDEA brand UFM-A12 WPA model module has 10 km range and 868 MHz was used for radio frequency communication. Serial data package needed for communication between modules was produced with Microchip brand PIC18F452 microcontroller. Low cost was main goal of study and water tank storage level was stability controlled by pump far away 1600 meters using wireless communication.
