Abstract :
In this study, seedless grapes sultanas, sanitary, industrial-scale drying of a closed and controlled conditions intended. To this end, was covered in heat pump technology and as Turkey s first industrial-type heat-pump drying (HPD) system with a capacity of 10,000 kg had been examined experimentally by designing and manufacturing. In experiments in the HPD 324.45db % humidity products, drying air temperature of 60.2 °C, 52 hours 20.71db % moisture content were dried. Under the sun drying process of concrete above the cloth sheet 330.81db % humidity products, 199 hours 14.60db % moisture content were dried. At the HPD dried grapes for cleaning dust-free and color value for the number 10 was obtained. Grapes are dried in the open as the dusty and the color value of the number 9 was obtained. Sultana type seedless grapes drying in the experimental analysis of the dryer, the average heating effect of the product during drying COPsystem coefficient: 2.81, specific SMERsystem dehumidification efficiency: 1.53, dehumidification efficiency MER: 99.15 respectively.
