An Investigation into the Possibilities of Wood Carving with Press Machine
Abstract :
Search efforts of people for looking for better ways give a new vision of artistic ornamentation techniques with the intention of continues development aspects over time. People have given importance to fulfill the fundamental needs of furniture and wooden ornamentations from the past to the present. One of the most significant approaches for ornamentation is carving techniques. At present, the application difficulties and high costs of hand carving push to furniture makers to use press machines for wooden carves. The purpose of this study is to examine construction techniques press machines. For this purpose, pressing carvings, and activities were examined by using the furniture and ornamentation applications in the related sectors. As a result, the general recommendations were presented for press carving features and application principles.
