Title Of Article :
Investigation of Cutting Parameters Effects and Coating Application to Deviation Circularity (Ovality) in Drilling of AISI 1050 Stell
Abstract :
The most important reason for the unavailability of drilled holes with drill without a second process recovery can not be obtained perfect circular holes. This situation occurs as a result loading chip volume two cutter blades in drilling with drill. However, a much smaller chip volume loaded distributed nearby many different angles cutter blades to reaming (keeping a very small share of reaming). Surface quality improved as a result of reaming that, acting at different angles, cutting edges, does not follow the traces of of each other and the circularity is guaranteed due to the volume of a very small chip. Thus, geometrically important in applications where the circularity secondary process such as reaming inevitable to drilled holes with drill. However, this second process negative effects of processing costs and leads to an increase in product cost. In this study, AISI 1050 steel were selected as test samples widely used in industrial applications. Cutting parameters were determined 60, 75, 90, 108 m/dak and 0,15, 0,20, and 0,25 mm/dev. Holes drilled with uncoated and TiN / TiAl / TiCN coated solid carbide drills and ovality (circularity deviation) were evaluated.
