Comparison of Model Developed for Concrete Stress-Strain
Abstract :
In this study, literature search was made about the models representing stress-strain behaviour of concrete which is a multi-phase composite material. Parameters that developed models for reinforced and unreinforced concrete take as reference were investigated. It has been presented that it is almost impossible to obtain exact result in terms of numerical and experimental practices since stress-strain behavior depends on many variables. It has been identified that each developed model has advantages and disadvantages and in a table all the models are compared briefly. The conducted study was reviewed in the light of information from the literature and it has been concluded that a good model shall not only depend on characteristic values but also it shall be coincided with experimental data and be corroborated.
