Abstract :
Today, when we look at the manufacturing sector, two main manufacturing method has come to the fore: traditional manufacturing methods and chipless manufacturing methods. These traditional manufacturing methods are turning, milling, drilling and chipless manufacturing methods are casting, forging, cold / hot rolling, extrusion, sheet metal processing. In addition to this method, electrical discharge machining, wire electrical discharge machining, chemical treatment, ultrasonic treatment and laser cutting are used as advanced manufacturing techniques. Rapid prototyping is one of the manufacturing method which can respond immediately to the needs of the designers in the product development process. In this study, one of the rapid prototyping method, rapid freezing prototyping will be described, discussed ways which shorten the construction period and the factors that influence treatment processes will be analyzed. Advantages and disadvantages over other rapid prototyping methods will be exposed.
