Effect of The Different T-Joint Design at Power Transformer
Abstract :
In the modern manufacturing processes, sheets of the transformer core composed as stacked with 5 pieces of cut parts which have top and bottom yoke and 3 legs. Also it is seen literature resarch about a part of experimental and a part of computer analysis that is emphasized maximum core loss of no-load transformer at T-joint sections. Using electromagnetic analysis program Ansoft Maxwell which developed for electric machines, analysis are performed for 7 different T-joint design for this aim. Furthermore total core losses, flux density distributions and sections of the maximum loss of power on the core is analyzed. Also another aim of this study is to find proper design with regard to minimum discarded material for different T-joint designs at core production stage.
