One of the most important prominent second places after Sivrihisar in Mehmet Kaplan’s life, one of the leading researchers of the Republican Period Turkish literature, is Eskişehir. The city where he lived between 1928 and 1935 left important traces, influencing his later life, on Mehmet Kaplan. In this paper, the importance of Eskişehir in Mehmet Kaplan’s life will be presented with different aspects on the new basis based on his books.
