Re-interpretation of the work titled as “Freedom Leading to the Public” by Eugene Delacroix within the Context of Inter-Paintings
Abstract :
Art is an essential part of society. Each community sets out its understanding of art and art of course varies in parallel with the social changes, like all elements of society. Each event deeply affects and artist so does his/her work. Elements shaping the society also determines the direction of art. This will be evident if art history is researched. In this sense, to express that art has a close relationship with of politics would not be wrong. Of all the values that direct and sustain human, there is no doubt that freedom concept is the most important which has caused many philosophical discussions. Here in this study, this concepts as discussed by Delacroix, the impact of terms of that period on creating this work of art, and the reasons for its recreation today by using Quote methods. It is thought that this work of art, together with the handicaps posed by social changes and political transformations, will be an interpreter for the point desired to be uttered. The objective of this article is to show the effort that re-interpreting indispensable values, works with the indispensable values are essential for illuminating current period.
