Abstract :
The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of different fertilizers on some physicschemical characteristics (wet and dry gluten, gluten index, zeleny sedimentation and modified zeleny sedimentation) of bread wheat (Altay-2000, Sultan and Yıldız) flour in arid area of Isparta during 2010/11 and 2011/12 growing seasons. The wet and dry gluten, gluten index, zeleny sedimentation and modified zeleny sedimentation varied depending on cultivars and manure types in both years. The effect of the fertilizer practices x the cultivar interactions on examined characteristics of wheat were found to be statistically significant in the both years, and the highest wet gluten (51.4% and 49.8%, respectively), dry gluten (16.2% and 15.8%, respectively) and gluten index (91.4% and 90.3%, respectively) were determined in humic acid fertilizer on Sultan and zeleny sedimentation (51.6 and 52.8 ml, respectively) and delayed zeleny sedimentation (30.7 and 31.7 ml, respectively) from the conventional fertilizer on Altay-2000.
