Effects of Farm Manure, Green Manure, Microbial Fertilizer and Plant Activator on Yield and Quality in Tomato Production

This study was conducted in the Agricultural Research and Experimental Station, Faculty of Agriculture, Süleyman Demirel University, in order to determine the effects of three different application of organic matter (control, green manure and farmyard manure) and plant activators and microbial fertilizers applications (control, Crop-Set, Bionem, Bionem + Crop-Set and conventional) combined with the organic matter application on organic tomato production. At the end of the study, based on the the interaction of applications and organic matter application it was observed that yield values ranged from 4.23 ton/da (control application in the plot not receiving organic matter) to 8.66 ton/da (conventional application in the farmyard manure plot). Considering the interaction of organic matter applications and other applications, variations were observed in average fruit weight (128.46-171.07 g), fruit length (66.99-72.07 mm), fruit diameters (70.01-85.80 mm), firmness (1.58-1.90 kg/cm²), vitamin C (18.42-23.52 mg/100 g), soluble solid content (% 3.67-4.52), titratable acidity (% 0.30-0.38) values.
