Abstract :
Business performance is measured via two methods which are subjective and objective. According to the findings of the research conducted in banking sector, when bank performance is measured through objective data, Akbank, Garanti, Yapıkredi, İşbank have the highest performance respectively, and Tekstilbank, Sekerbank and TEB have the lowest performance. When bank performance is measured through subjective data, Garanti, İşbank, Akbank, Yapıkredi have the highest performance respectively and Alternatifbank, Tekstilbank and Sekerbank have the lowest performance. In addition, it is found that there is an important relationship between subjective performance and objective performance. So both methods can be used interchangeably.
