A RESEARCH OF THE EFFECT OF PERCEIVED INSIDER STATUS ON ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOUR
Abstract :
In this article, it was aimed to see the effect on organizational citizenship behaviour of the perceived insider status on the workers. For this aim the information will be given about the perceived insider status that hasn’t been examined enough, the difference from perceived outsider status will be mentioned and the connection between organizational citizenship behaviour will be told. In the research part, effects on organizational citizenship behaviour of perceived insider status will be examined. Additionaly as the secondary aim is to determine the differences between the research changes and demographic features of workers. Organizational citizenship behaviour has been dealt with in five dimensions. According to result of the research in Mersin among public and private sector workers, it has been determined that perceived insider status has positive relation with organizational citizenship behaviour and perceived insider status effects on organizational citizenship behaviour in a positive way.
