Title Of Article :
WORKERS’ REMITTANCES AND ECONOMIC GROWTH RELATION: A DYNAMIC PANEL DATA ANALYSIS
Abstract :
Scholars and governments are interested in workers’ remittances since their increased volumes. Workers’ remittances are one of the important financial sources for developing countries and they have a decreasing or increasing impact on recipient country’s economic growth. There is no consensus about the direction of this impact. The aim of this study is to investigate of these inflows’ possible impact on economic growth. The findings show that there is a positive relationship between workers’ remittances and recipient country’s growth level. Also, there are other control variables which explain economic growth in this model, such as inflation rate, government expenditure and external debt. But trade openness seems statistically insignificant.
