Abstract :
Logistics Sector is in constant change so the demanders. They have started to ask the optimization of these services. That’s why, process cost, cycle time and quantitative indicators relating to quality are the key points that should be considered by the logistics management to achieve continuous improvement. Not only unit sales but also the customers and employees perspectives needs to be evaluated to increase customer satisfaction, employee performance and reduce costs, thus increasing profitability. Balance Scorecard is a concept developed to achieve this. In this study, I examined the concept of Balance Scorecard and provided a detailed description of the subject along with a broad literature review. I studied financial, customer, process, and employee aspects of Balance Scorecard in in terms of logistics. I also investigated the applicability of Balance Scorecard in logistics. As a result, I attempted to provide a methodology for how to apply Balance Scorecard in logistics.
