Abstract :
Decision making is the process of selecting the optimum alternative within multiple ones. When evaluating the alternatives, if the number of the based criteria exceeds one, the work of making a decision becomes more difficult and the name of the problem changes into multiple criteria decision making. To overcome these problems multiple criteria decision making methods are developed and used. AHP is one of the such methods and it is efficient by its ability to enable the subjective expert opinions become quantitative data and include them in the decision making process. In this study AHP was used for selecting the optimum hotel. Four hotels having five stars were analyzed the optimum one was selected. Finally, limitations of this study and areas for future research are presented.
