Abstract :
There are also some institutions other than governance whose purpose is to solve the social- economical problems (such as poverty, unemployment, education, health). Social entrepreneurship working activities fill the needs gap in situations where governments and private sectors have inefficient or inattentive services. Social entrepreneurship is an act of non-profit organizations and aims to create social benefits. Akhism philosophy which was developed in the era of Akhi Evran in the thirteenth century, there is solving some socio-economic and cultural problems of society and creating social value. In this context such as altruism, charity and philanthrophy emotions is the basic characteristics of Akhism. The aim of this paper is to determine similiraties between soscial entrepreneurship and Akhi Organization.
