THE EVALUATION OF THE EFFICACY OF TEACHERS GRADUATED FROM CLASSROOM TEACHING PROGRAM TOWARDS TURKISH COURSE
Abstract :
The aim of this study is determining the importance given to competences of subject matter and subject teaching based on Turkish course, from lecturers and elementary teachers’ point of view, graduated from Elementary Education Department and the gaining levels of these competences by elementary teachers. Through this aim, two questionnaires were prepared for lecturers and elementary teachers. As a result; it is observed all of the competence items of subject matters and subject teaching of Turkish were evaluated as “very important” and “quite important” level by elementary teachers and lecturers. Although elementary teachers think gaining competences during their faculty education is not well matched with degree of the importance of the competences.
