DETERMINING EFFECTIVENESS OF THE WORKSHEETS BASED ON THE ELABORATE STAGE

The purpose of this study is to investigate effectiveness of the worksheets about “Spread of Heat with the Collision of Particle” and “Spread of Heat without Particle” based on the elaborate stage of the 5E model. The quasi-experimental research desing was used. Sample is consist of 47 sixth grade students. The data was collected by using open-ended qusetions, interviews and observations. At the elaborate stage of lessons were being taught using prepared worksheets in the experiment group and using course book in the control group. There was significant difference (U =106, p .05) between experiment and control groups understanding levels.
