Abstract :
The objective of this study is to determine what prospective teachers at elementary educationconsider about the problems in “Teaching Practice Course”. The population of the descriptivestudy consists of fourth grade students in the Department of Elementary Education at Gazi Facultyof Education, Gazi University. The sample consists of 360 students – 260 of which returned thesurvey, including one section from both regular education and evening class education students intheir eighth semester. The main data collecting tool was developed by the researcher. During dataanalysis, the arithmetic mean (X ) and the standard deviation (S) for the first sub-objective,arithmetic mean and t-test for the second and third sub-objectives, and one-way analysis ofvariance for the fourth sub-objective was done. Since there was significant difference of p 0.05,multiple comparison test (LSD) was also done. For the final question, the qualitative analysis wasused. Prospective teachers reported that they have some other problems such as school selection,transportation problems and communication problems.
