Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to introduce the teachers opinions about high school principals’realizing their transformational leadership behaviours. The study is a descriptive survey. Data ofthe study was obtained by questionnaire prepared by the researchers. 167 high school teachers’opinions were applied for the study. For analyzing data; mean, t- test, ANOVA and correlationwere calculated. According to the findings of the reasearch, the high school principals realize“sometimes” their behaviour in all dimensions of transformational leadership. Although there wasa significant difference in teachers’ assessment of high school principals’ realizing behaviours inall dimensions of transformational leadership in terms of gender, there wasn’t a significantdifference in terms of seniority of the teachers and their branches. In addition, there was asignificant difference in teachers’ assesments about principals’ transformational leadershipbehaviours in identifying and developing vision in terms of teachers’ working period with theirprincipals, and it was found out there is a positive relationship among all dimensions oftransformational leadership.
