Abstract :
In this study, it was aimed to examine the relations between interpersonal styles andsubjective well-being and to determine to what extent interpersonal styles predict subjectivewell-being. 242 (161 female, 77 male) university students from Sakarya University EducationFaculty participated in the study. Interpersonal Relationships Scale (IRS), Satisfaction withLife Scale (SWLS) and Positive and Negative Affect Scale (PANAS) were used as datacollecting instruments in the research. In data analysis, Pearson correlation coefficients andmultiple regression analysis were used. The findings showed that there was a positivecorrelation between nourishing relationship style and subjective well-being and a negativecorrelation between toxic relationship style and subjective well-being. Also, results showedthat interpersonal styles predict subjective well-being significantly. The findings werediscussed and in the light of these findings suggestions for future studies were proposed.
