Abstract :
This research is a scale development study to determine the school perceptions of learning teachers and what dimensions they form. Universe of the research are the teachers working in primary and secondary schools in Sivas.The research sample constitute of 431 teachers from these schools selected by a suitable sampling method The study is carried out among 206 teachers in the first group, who gave feedback and are suitable for treating, and 225 teachers in second group. For structure validity of scale, explanatory and confirmative factor analysis is made. In reliability, there are item analysis and internal consistency parameter. SPSS 18.00 and LİSREL 8,7 programs are benefited in statistical process of data. About the findings of research, it can be said that Learning School Scale (LSS) is a reliable and a valid 4 factor scale. As a result of “confirmative factor analysis” performed with the data gained from teachers in second group, sub factors of scale are named as first factor “Learning as a team”, second factor “mental models”, third factor “shared vision”, fourth factor “Personal dominance”. The scale can be applied to teachers working in primary and secondary education.
