Abstract :
Every language in the world has own phones, phonetic characteristics. Moreover, as they are used and improved, a set of phonetic events are composed in the structure of every language, such as disappearance, anaptyxis, phonetic change, harmony. Turkish language, which is one of the oldest language of world, has pointed out in point of phones, phonetic structure and especially having various phonetic events. Because of abundant of ponetic events and variety in Turkish, classification are compulsory in the education. Until now, either in the gramer books or in the Turkish school books, phonetic events have been exhited as superficial and without considering synchronic-diachronic. This paper present a different study related on phonetic events and phones of Turkish.
