A Classical Ottoman Poet Hicri, From Bursa and His Poems
Abstract :
According to biography, Hicri is one of the classical Ottoman poets who had lived in 16th century. Most of the resources which tells about his life agree that he is from Bursa. His real name is Mehmed. However he is called as Kara Çelebi. According to resources, he has no other work besides Divan.In this study, we will provide information about Hicri’s life and will explain his poems and some features of the poems which are found in his only work, Divançe and in various journals.
