Abstract :
Bawırjan Momışulı is one of the most important figures of Kazakhstan in 20th century. Having experienced some catastrophic events such as 1917 Bolshevik Revolution, famine and ethnic cleansing in 1930s and 1941-1945 Soviet-German War, which are very important not only fort he regional countries but also fort he entire world, Momışulı always managed to protect his strong character. Even in Stalin era, he never conceded from his character, language, ideas, customs and traditions, all of which means his Kazakh personality. Momışulı participated in Soviet-German War from beginning to the end. One of his most important features is establishing Kazakh war literature with his works that he has written by making use of the notes he had taken in the fronts. He has shown how war literature should be both in theory and practice.Momışulı is an honest scholar who has, without any hesitation, spoken aloud his ideas on the social subjects such as religion, politics, arts, literature, history and, language
