    A Study on the Effect of Cooperative Learning Method on Students’ Attitude in Teaching Science and Technology

  • Abstract
    This study focuses on the impact of Cooperative learning method in teaching science and technology courses to the 7th graders. 101 students (46 female, 55 male) from four different schools of Bursa’s Nilufer, Kestel and Yildrim districts were taught the “Human and environment” unit via Cooperative Learning Method. Our data was collected from these students by using Student Perspectives on Cooperative Learning Approach Survey which is total of 20 questions and was evaluated by using SPSS 13.00. The results indicate that Cooperative Learning Approach had a positive effect on 85% of the students who took the course. The results also show that gender of a student made no difference on the outcome.
