Researchıng On Nonethical Usage of information Technologies By High School Students Who Take Computer Lesson

Abstract
The aims of this research are analizing the problems seen through technologic progress and researching of nonethical usage of information technologies by highschool students. The study was conducted with 375 students who were students of the different high schools in Karaman in 2007-2008 education-instruction year. “Social impact”, “intellectual property”, “safety and quality”, “information integrity” and “network integrity” were the factors of the research data. The SPSS 15 program was used to analyze the collected data. Mean, standard deviation, Kruskal Walis H Test and Independent Samples t test were used to analyse the data. The results of the study revealed that the students who don’t have personal computer (PC) use information technologies more ethical and who don’t have internet connection use information technologies more ethical than the others. Outcomes of the research also showed that the students who use computer very well handle information technologies more unetical and the students who use internet very well handle information technologies more unetical than the others.
