Domestic violence is a difficult to diagnose and intervene condition. Women exposed to domestic violence utilize from health centers for various reasons. However, women unable to express their problems for various reasons such as be ashamed from health staff, be afraid of violent person and feel guilty. For this reason, health staff should be sensitive to act and screen and intervene to domestic violence against women without delay. Nurses are in a key point for screening and intervention of domestic violence against women because of established close relatioship with patients in their woking environments and a professional group that the majority of women. Nurses can offer an effective service to solve the problems of women exposed to domestic violence against women by using te close relationship established with patients with their caring role and communication skills.
