Abstract :
Tuberculosis (TB) of upper respiratory tract is a rather rare seen. Because it has atypical of symptom and finding, and diagnosis is difficult, it is still an important clinical problem. Tuberculosis bacillus can settle on oral mucosa, tonsil, tongue, nose, epiglottis, larynx, and pharynx. TB of upper respiratory tract usually accompanies to pulmonary TB. But it can be rarely seen without pulmonary TB result of hematogen spread. A 61-year-old female is presented in this study that admitted with ear congestion, loss of hearing, sleeping with an open mouth, snoring, weakness and night sweat, and diagnosed as nasopharynx TB after histopathological and microbiological examination.
